You guys know that I’m unabashed winer and diner, searching out hidden gems to stun my clients. But, it doesn’t stop with restaurants, bars, bistros and cafes.
My clients don’t spend their entire holiday eating at amazing restaurants (but if that is what you want, honey, that is what you will get).
A holiday is often about relaxing and spoiling yourself.
That includes looking after your body.
Enter the world of beauty and wellness. Massages (Swedish, Hot Stone, Thai, Cupping) Facials, Reflexology, manicures, pedicures, shellac, Minx, eye-lash extensions, make-up applications, haircuts, blow-dry. The full on, luxurious pampering we all would really like more off. The kind you don’t have the time to indulge in during your regular life.
But, where to go for that in the fair City of Edinburgh?
Well, I get the most AMAZING massages from the lovely Hoeyyn (www.shivagothaiclinic.com), I always feel like a brand new woman after and quite frankly I can’t recommend her highly enough if you are in need of some TLC. Run to book an appointment with her, you won’t be disappointed.
I love having a perfect shellac manicure; two weeks of perfect fingers nails is my kind of glamour. Beauty at Brandon Terrace (https://www.facebook.com/beautyatbrandon) is the beauty shop in town. I won’t go anywhere else. They do an excellent job, don’t charge an arm and a leg AND you feel so well looked after from the very moment you walk into the shop.
Tony and Guy are great for a quick blow-dry if you are heading out somewhere fancy for dinner and want your hair to look nothing short of perfect.
