Bar Review: Cross and Corner, Canonmills, Edinburgh

I am a unabashed epicurean. A winer,  a diner.

Guilty as charged.

I love nothing more than discovering a fabulous bar, especially if it is a new kid on the block.

Cross & Corner, opened in the summer of 2013 and has been impressing those in the know.
Formally a scuzzy old man's pub, this bar was resurrected anew, with a fabulous welcoming interior (vintage beer logo wallpaper, a clever touch) this is a bar that doesn't just have class.

It conducts itself with confidence.
Boasting a small, but impressive menu this is an establishment where you can enjoy a perfectly cooked steak or an delectable burger. My highest praise goes to their selection of Bloody Mary cocktails. They have taken a classic cocktail, and made it their signature drink with five different versions available.
If you enjoy a relaxed bar, with great food, excellent music, the best Bloody Mary's available in Edinburgh and free wifi, this bar is one you need to explore.
