With effect from the 15th July, we’re delighted to share the good news that we are back to tour operations in line with the Scottish government guidelines.

The impact on service is minimal, as all tours are strictly private. Other than the driver, social distancing is easy to follow as you aren’t sharing with other passengers and the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned between each tour.

As expected, there will be some adjustments to service required, but we will be adhering to the government’s advice by:

  • Ensuring our Mercedes V-Class minivan will be completely disinfected throughout regularly, covering the seats, hard surfaces and all interior and exterior handles.
  • Encouraging the use of face masks / coverings. If you haven’t got them with you, we will provide them. Do note that they are only required when indoors and not for outside.
  • Following a 2-metre social distance when outside of the vehicle.

There are restrictions still within the hospitality sector and it is recommended that you check beforehand on operating hours to avoid any disappointment. Nevertheless, we know Scotland inside-out and will still be able to plan a memorable bespoke tour should you wish to attend a private tour around Edinburgh, experience a whisky trail, or see the Highlands.

Despite the very slight changes to service, we remain committed to mitigating any environmental impact as well. We have always been focused on small group, slow travel, bespoke tours since the very beginning, so rest assured we’re the perfect companions to explore Scotland with – now abiding with social distancing rules of course.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Scotland and being able to share our passion for discovering and experiencing all this wonderful country has to offer.

Any questions, feel free to get in touch with us here.
