You always wanted to know what Scotland was like? Then come and meet real Scots at heart and experience the best that Scotland has on offer. Hear amazing stories, indulge in local delicacies enjoy the outdoors and dive in to the traditional yet modern life-style of the Scottish people.

Day 1

Scotland is home to many wonderful sights and experiences, so, on the first day of the tour, you will have the opportunity to create an incredibly fresh meal with the accomplished food lover and nutritionist, Jane Lormier.
Jane will welcome us to the Ardross Farm Shop where you will find yourself in “Foodie Heaven”. Here you will learn how to select your locally grown ingredients to prepare for a delicious meal.
You will even have the chance meet the farmers and fishermen behind your fare!


We then head to Anster Cheese Farm, where you will discover the traditions behind the cheese production and the farm itself, a perfect day for cheese lovers!


Afterwards, we return to the charming Gibliston Mill where Jane will show you the skills needed to prepare and enjoy our lunch, made with your very own locally selected produce from today’s excursion.


With our bellies full we then head to Kellie Castle for a private tour of the castle and gardens to explore the history, traditions and legends. And, if the rumours are true, you might even bump into a Scottish ghostie! Kellie Castle is a real “must see” for all history buffs, nature lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike.


Once we have finished our Kellie Castle tour, and stretched our legs around the gardens, we then head back to our accommodation at Gibliston Mill to once again meet with Jane for more wonderful treats and drinks to celebrate our first day in Scotland.

Day 2

Kick off day 2 with a traditional Scottish breakfast that includes Puddledub’s famous black pudding, haggis, bacon and other classic treats that will set you up for the day ahead.
We’ll then head to Tullybardine Distillery, where a VIP tour awaits. We’ll go behind the scenes of whiskey production to learn about the art of distilling, the traditions and the people behind it all. And of course, you’ll get to have a “wee nip” or two as part of the experience.


You will then get to meet Scottish outdoor adventure specialist, Ian Murray, known for his six books on the folklore of the Cairngorm Highlands, who will take us all on an unforgettable outdoor experience with some truly breathtaking views and enchanting tales.


We finish the day by unwinding at the Douneside House & Health Club, with a delicious dinner, and good night’s kip before another day of adventures tomorrow.

Day 3

After a hearty breakfast, we head to Speyside Cooperage, the heart of Speyside Malt Whisky Trail. Using traditional methods and tools, witness the only Scottish cooperage that still shapes, shaves, chars and repairs whiskey casks. From the visitor’s gallery, we’ll learn how the natural wood of the cask shapes whiskey flavours.


It’s now just down the road to The Macallan Estate, one of the largest and best-known whiskey distilleries in the world, and home to James Bond’s favourite, the Macallan single malt! After what you will have learnt in the morning, you’ll love and appreciate this distillery even more.


Then we head to Leault Farm to visit with local shepherd and dog trainer, Neil and see how he trains herding dogs to keep the flock of sheep in check. Neil will also treat us to the original and often forgotten art of sheering a sheep with traditional hand shears. Something not to be missed!


We then finish our fun-filled day in Kincraig at the Ballathie House Hotel. Here we can unwind with dinner and perhaps even out some of our newly acquired whiskey knowledge to good use.

Day 4

It simply wouldn’t be a visit to Scotland without enjoying one of Scotland’s greatest loves – golf. After a breakfast at the Ballathie House Hotel, we head to Kingsfield Golf Course to take part in a golf workshop with golfing pro Ronnie Bamberry and his team. Even for the golfing novice, this is sure to be a highlight as Ronnie and his team take us take us through their best golfing tips and guide us through the beautiful and scenic course.


If golf isn’t your thing, then perhaps you would prefer to experience your very own Highland Games à la Christopher Lambert? From the “tossing tha caber” to the hammer throw to weight for height and more, you will get the chance to try your hand at Scottish games at its finest.


We then head for lunch where Ronnie will guide you to the neighbouring Michelin-rated Champany Inn. Here you will be treated to an unforgettable steak lunch followed by a tour of the cellars with an option try a tipple from some of their extensive stock. From there, we continue on to Edinburgh to be enchanted by the many sights of this magical old town. You will have free time to wander around the historic, winding streets and to shop for souvenirs.


We finish the day off at Malmaison Edinburgh, our overnight accommodation on our last evening together in Scotland. But before we crawl into our beds, a very special adventure awaits you with the “Spirit of Scotland Night” – an evening of traditional Scottish song and dance accompanied by a delicious Scottish dinner to delight your pallet.

Day 5

Sadly, the holiday must come to an end. But before you head home, after a final traditional Scottish breakfast, we meet Howie Nicholsby, kilt maker and local legend. Howie will guide us the tartans and cuts from the traditional Kilt maker’s family, and share his funny anecdotes about making and wearing kilts. Howie’s charm and charisma is the perfect end to our Scottish tour.
